Q. Does Protech supply and install its products ?

A. Yes, we can either ship to you, or provide supervision only, or supply and install a turn-key package .

Q. Does Protech offer volume discounts to preferred customers ?

A. No, As you see from our pricing, there are no dealer discounts or inflated retail pricing.

Q. What are Protech's standard terms ?

A. Net 30 OAC, Joint Check, Cash or Credit Cards. Custom orders may require deposits, call for details.

Q. Does Protech provide Engineering support and Shop Drawings to Merchants ?

A. Yes and No. It is our goal to supply you with all the information on our website so you can estimate the job, print out submittals and cut sheets, order the equipment, and install it. We are always here to help you.

Q. Does Protech have minimum orders ?

A. For existing qualified merchants, No. For new customers the minimum order if $1,000.

Q. Does Protech test and certify its rigging hardware ?

A. All Protech equipment professionally engineered and destruction tested by an independent testing agency.

Q. What are Protech's hours ?

A. Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. For after hours and emergency service, cell phone numbers are provided.

Q. Does Protech subcontract installation or manufacturing ?

A. No, Protech self performs all operations, therefore maintaining cost control, scheduling and quality assurance.

Q. Does Protech manufacture and provide custom equipment ?

A. Yes, We recently manufactured and installed an upside down LinkLift (first ever attempted) without a hitch.

Q. Does Protech manufacture its rigging equipment, drapes, shells, tension grids, pipe grids, winches, controls and orchestra lifts ?

A. Yes, all at our own facility. We operate, steel shops with the latest welding equipment for steel and aluminum, wood shop, CNC machine shop, Plastic Injection Molding machines, complete sewing room and paint shop.

Q. What is Protech's standard delivery ?

A. Depending on the size of the order and backlog, we normally ship in 6- 8 weeks. Please order as early as possible for production scheduling. We also stock a number of our standard items.

Q. Can Protech ship equipment or parts directly to the jobsite or theatre ?

A. Yes, we can ship common carrier, or best way your choice.

Q. Does Protech warranty its equipment ?

A. Yes, 2 full years, and in many cases, the life of the buildings. We believe in our equipment and processes.

Q. Does Protech provide load rated domestic hardware ?

A. Yes, all our equipment is load rated and self performed. We do not buy out or import foreign products, nor offer any fasteners less than Grade 5.

Q. Does Protech provide consulting or design & build services ?

A. No, we believe the Theatre Consultants are a critical component to every successful project, and strongly encourage our clients to use them. Please contact us for recommendations.

Q. Does Protech manufacture other equipment not listed in the catalog ?

A. Yes, lifts, shells, wagons, machines, variable acoustic ceilings and drapes, truck lifts, turntables, etc. Just ask us.

Q. Does Protech provide employment opportunities ?

A. We have little or no turnover, but we are always interested in talented people. Email us your resume.

Q. Does Protech exhibit at trade shows ?

A. Yes, each year at both the LDI and USITT shows. Come by and meet us.

Q. Does Protech provide product samples ?

A. Yes, just let us know. Often these can be used in your projects.

Q. Does Protech rent tools, equipment, scenery, platforms, drops ?

A. No, we are strictly manufacturers and contractors. We are not in the rental or production business.

Q. Does Protech provide equipment internationally ?

A. Yes, We ship worldwide and can even provide supervision if required.
